The Flat Tire Shad features a realistic throbbing tail that sends off vibrations that trigger strikes. If a predatory fish eats bait fish, he'll eat these. Both have tantalizing, molded-in eyes that attract fish from a distance and entices them to attack. Hollow body feels like a real minnow in a hungry fish's mouth. "When my husband saw these, he exclaimed; "What are you trying to catch? ...A whale?" (he is a trout man) But the swimming action of these soft lures is extremely realistic when rigged, or even used alone.
I haven't caught anything with these as of yet, thus I have to say no when recommending this kit. I hope that maybe it is just me, that may not be angling properly. They certainly look like they should be appealing to the fish."
