"Very little negative thoughts about them. The pants are large enough for layering but yet not too bulky when worn alone. I really like the zip cargo pockets, which seem rare on rain pants. Some previous reviewers complained about their potential to be a little noisey. I suppose that on a very quiet day deer close by could hear a hunter walking. But I've never found waterproof pants that are completely quiet. But because these are not either I'd give them a 4.5 rating."

"I had really high hopes for these pants when I ordered them. I spent a lot of time on this site looking at all of the pants Cabela's had to offer and decided on these as they apparently offered the best combination of all the features I was looking for: waterproof, warm and quiet. The pants really do seem to be waterproof and warm and are very tough. Unfortunately, as I walked into my treestand, it sounded like I was wearing abbrasive nylon as the brush rubbed against my pants. It was really that loud. I will be exchanging these and going with something much more quiet."

"These pants are GREAT! Very confortable & plenty of zippers in the front. Wore them on a cold 25 degree morning with some thermals underneith & stayed plenty warm. Don't seem to pick up the burs either which is nice."

"I purchased these pants to go with my MT050 7 in 1 parka. Cabela's changed the liner material to the knee and they are now lined with nylon. The liner is vary noisy and not suitable for still hunting I am returning them. TOO bad to because they would be great if they were quiet."

"I purchased my Tryad pants for the Oct 11-Oct 15th Elk Hunt in Colorado. The pants worked perfectly, keeping me warm after sitting for 3 1/2hrs. in 16 degree weather, pouring rain and screaming 50MPH winds. They are warm and comfortable and paired with my 7/1 Parka were a perfect combination. Thanks for a great product."

"I bought one pair of the TRYAD pants. After wearing them the first day I liked them so much that I wore them for four consecutive days in Prince William Sound during the last week of April 2008. These medium weight pants are worth the money. They kept me warm and dry. Easy over the boot on/off. I'll be buying a second pair. Great product."
