"I've worn out a number of custom and Cabela brand shearling slippers, even made a pair when I had more time than money. I was hoping this pair would combine the best of all the various brands. Instead it is just another slipper with a nice feature here and a short coming there. For me the short comings are the following: 1. Sole, and in particular heel is hard - I attribute this to a thin - very thin, insole with limited padding, and while I didn't look, probably rough spots in the outer sole material under the insole. Took out the label which helped. Since the sole is the single most important feature - this is a killer for me. 2. Tad too thin, my foot is not wide, but I do role to the outside, maybe I have to "break-in" these slippers but they pinch my foot, not something I like in a slipper. I will not buy these slippers again, I'd recommend the Cabela shearling slippers - leather bottom."

"These scuffs are the most comfortable ones ever! My favorite feature is the texture of the outer sole and the rubber heel guard. Everything is perfect about this shoe. I've actually wanted to order about 3 more pairs for fear that they may become discontinued or changed as styles often do. These should remain a classic and have no need to be altered. Glad you wanted my review.....it reminds me that I need to hurry and order more. Oh, and by the way, I go outside quite often to retrieve wood for our woodstove in a yard that's virtually dirt and rocks (high desert)...and they're perfect and appear to wear very well. Love them! Want more!"

"I bought my first pair three years ago, and ordered a replacement pair recently. I wear them everyday, inside and out, for quick trips to the barn, and about anytime I don't need "real shoes." They mold to your feet, and will be the warmest slipper/shoe you own. The sole insulates from cold ground and drafty floors. My original pair now reside at the office, and keep my feet warm and comfortable during the winter. Aside from a cut on the outer sole, and having to replace the insole, they're still in good shape. You can even throw them in the washer."

"These slippers are great - good support, softness, & comfort. They're ideal for wearing inside & outside. I look forward to slipping them on after being at work all day, & have entertained the idea of wearing them to work! (I think I could really get away with it!) "I received these slippers last Christmas one year ago. Although they are extremely comfortable and very warm, they began to show wear within two months. Now, there is almost no lining left inside, and on one slipper, the side is no longer attached to the bottom of the shoe. They are still my slipper of choice when at home, and while I love the warmth and support they provide, for the price, they are not made very well."

"These scuffs are terrific. They have not stretched out of shape, are very warm, and can pass for shoes. The sole is very stable, which is why I wear them inside and out.
