"Came out of its bubble package disassembled, took a few minutes to get it put together and working. Works as intended. I'd like it better if it were a smaller diameter. It won't fit down a .400 diameter bore."

"The instructions are vague. It needs 3 batteries. It doesn't tell you that. The batteries are expensive in some places (up to $4 each). If you have "sausage fingers", it will be difficult to assemble. It's not for small calibers, but this product works. Don't expect anything perfect."

Dissapointing supplier product,December 30, 2008

"I have found that only one in four work. You have to put it together, why I'm not sure, and the teperamental bulb can cause problems as well as often dead batteries. It should come already put together with a blocking device to prevent dead batteries. Cabela's, as always, eagerly stands behind their products and will replace or refund. I do feel Cabela's should require supplier to redesign there packageing."
