Bummer,October 23, 2009
By ryno22from Idaho
"I picked this headlamp because its LED was brighter than anything else on the shelf. Got it home and it worked great, for about 3 days then the LED just stopped working. So i took it back. Gonna buy a more expensive one this time (I guess you get what you pay for) Another feature that I didn't like was the exposed, very easy to push on/off switch. I could just see that thing getting turned on while inside my pack and burning out the batteries."

Artemisia from N. Colorado,September 26, 2009

"This is a very effective LED headlamp. I have used LED headlamps of other brands and although they would run a long time they were too dim to do much more than watch the ground for your footing while walking. In anything but the white light mode they made objects look unusual. Bare limbs on the ground looked like cables. The bright, white mode of this lamp takes care of that problem. Where I elk hunt it is not uncommon to have to make your way around moose on your way to your stand and being able to see them at 80 or 100 yards gives me a lot more peace of mind than seeing them at 10 or 20 yards. The light seemed a little heavy when I first picked it up but it is balanced well and the weight wasn't a factor."

great headlamp!,September 18, 2009

"This headlamp is great! It is so much tougher, brighter and better designed than those lights you buy at the W-store. The green on the battery pack is genius, it would also make you a lot safer walking through the woods in hunting season when dark. Uses AA batteries- a big plus."

By rhiggi8from Seattle
"I have been using this headlamp for a couple of years now and it is awesome! I camp, backpack and live in the woods of Western Washington State and it outshines all I have seen. I am buying another for my other vehicle."

great brightness,August 1, 2009
By masa100from Kahului,Maui,HI
"I love this headlight. It is very bright and it last for a long time. I also bought the other more expensive Cabelas headlight as well but I love this one. To me I feel it is a lot brighter then the 5 watt cree bulb headlight. The beam is much more wider and it seams just as strong. So for the price I would rather buy this one anytime."

XPG LED headlamp,July 25, 2009
By westbendmikefrom Wisconsin
"This thing is BRIGHT!!! I just got back from a camping trip in the North Woods. Cloudy nights with a new moon were no problem. It completely outclassed all of the relatives' flashlights. I only gave it 4 stars because I wanted it to be waterproof and it's not, as far as can tell."
