Simply Awesome,October 22, 2009
By Yichifrom House Springs, MO
"I bought the Horn Hunter Slingshot w/ Quiver from Cabela's with some points I had on the wife and I's card (well not totally bought, but did get it for 30 bucks off) and so far it has worked out with everything I wanted it too. I wanted to keep my quiver off my bow, yet still have it within easy reach and keep it with my gear. This pack has allowed me more than enough room to bring everything I needed with me to my stand and will ride on your shoulder really comfortably. Using Slick Tricks with the quiver and have had zero problems with the quiver supporting them and keeping the arrows tight. I was thinking of getting the back pack, but didn't think I would need that much more room. I carry a small hydration bladder, 2 calls, small rattle bag, some small binocs, rangefinder, 2 screw in bow hooks (i usually end up leaving one in a tree at some point), pull rope, 2 kinves, small folding saw, a little sandwich baggy with some snacks, a little clear tacklebox that has extra d-loops/knocks/glue/insters/extra broadheads/odds-n-ins in case I need then, extra socks in case I get feet wet, and my main/spare releases with me and it all more than fits. I have also carried my climber in with me and was still comfortable even with about a 1/2 mile hike back to the area I wanted to hunt (wind was wrong for main stand so grabbed climber out of the truck).
The only wish that I have is that I wish it came in Realtree AP to match the rest of my camo, but I bought the Max-1 version and it is kinda close.
Highly recommed the pack"

Great Pack!,September 29, 2009
By tdd562from Shoemakersville, PA
"I bought this pack hoping to streamline my setup process when I get to my treestand. It did that in spades.
First, it's comfortable to carry, has a great capacity, lots of compartments to keep things separated, and everything is where it should be.
The straps to secure it to the tree are the icing on the cake, though. With my quiver strapped to it, there's little setup to do in the tree anymore. I release the quick-release buckles to take it off quietly and with little movement, put the tree straps on and cinch tight, put the waist strap around the bottom and cinch tight, and my quiver is where I need it and secure. All my gear is in the pack and I can access it easily. I set up my bow holder and pull up my bow, and I'm set up for hunting.
I'll be using this pack for rifle season, too. It's a good general purpose hunting pack."

Horn Hunter Pack,September 9, 2009
By HuntinHerbfrom Oklahoma
"I've been very please with the pack so far. It is comfortable on the shoulder and perfect for day trips. Lots of padding to cushion the heavy loads which find their way into my packs. The contruction appears of high quality and it is very quiet. It comes with a tarantula quiver which can be removed and worn as hip quiver or shoulder quiver. Arrows lock firmly into the quiver and I've heard no rattling. I shoot a recurve and this pack / quiver combo is perfect. I can easily swing the pack off my back and hang it in a tree with the built in hook strap or leave it on while stalking. The pack does not interfer with shooting of my bow and the quiver can be positioned almost anywere on the pack dependent on one's preference. I would highly recommend to someone who doesn't like a quiver on his bow or hates attempting to put a backpack on over heavy clothing or fitting to remove it in a treestand or blind."

"This is the right size for a day pack, ease to get to your gear, not to heavy. Arrows are sucured and out of the way when walking or hanging in a tree."
