Sight, smell and hearing ? the three senses employed by deer and other game animals to survive. Scent-Lok's engineers embarked on a new quest to defeat these natural defenses, and innovative Vertigo is the result. By strategically blending two patterns from the Mossy Oak? Break-Up? series, Vertigo melts human outlines into the natural background unlike any other camo. It does so by incorporating "open areas" into the pattern. Though great close up, from a distance conventional camo patterns can blend together and create a "dark blob" that betrays a human form. Vertigo's unique pattern obliterates human outlines viewed from any distance, depriving your prey of any eyesight advantage. Scent-Lok technology in Vertigo contains human odors and counters any game animal's sense of smell. By incorporating weatherproof membranes and a 100% polyester ThunderTec? shell, Vertigo resists penetration by wind and precipitation. Finally, a thin layer of quiet microfleece insulation fends off early-morning and late-day chills. Especially effective for hunters using treestands and elevated platforms, Vertigo can be used by any hunter alone on mild early-season hunts, or as an outer layer during later seasons when cold weather moves in. These pants deliver all the advantages of Vertigo camo and are cut with a full seat for optimal freedom of movement. Three zippered pockets, two on the front sides and one in the back. 18" leg zippers for easy on and off. Elastic waistband with belt loops. Imported. Inseam: 32". Waist sizes: M-2XL. "I saw this new camo pattern in bow hunting magazines. I was really impressed by how long it took me to see the full outline of the archer in the photo so I was anxious to get a set for this season. I had read the reviews here, as always, and saw the negative ones about how loud it is but I bought it anyway to check it out. I knew I could send it back if not completely satisfied. Ya gotta love Cabelas' return policy! It was really noisy out of the box. BUT being a stubborn guy by nature, I decided to see how it might be after a washing or two. I washed it and a lot of the "crunchieness" was gone. I washed it again a few week later and it was quieter still. Yesterday, I drew on a big white tail buck at 15 yards. He never saw me, never heard me, and never smelled me. He's hanging in my shed waiting to be butchered and taken to the taxidermist.

I plan on using this pattern in gun season and when I go hunting in PA where I hike all day rather than sit a stand.

Very happy I went the distance. The fabric has broken in and its a great pattern and product. 5 Stars"

"I really like the camo pattern for tree stand hunting and the pants are nice with zippered pockets & leg openings but the fabric is way to noisey for close range bowhunting. Sounds like you are wearing plastic rain gear. They really blew it on fabric choice."
