"I guess they call these boots "Dream Season" for a reason... I guess that if you hunt in the fields up north or on ranches where you get to your stand by ATV then these boots are for you... but if you are a true hunter who has to walk a 1/2 mile to your stand through the swamp or any kind of water, don't waste your hard earned money on these boots. they leak more than a pair of tennis shoes and those freakin buttons keep coming undone. I never had a problem with the zipper, but that is the only positive thing I can say about them. I wouldn't recommend these boots to anybody..."

"Good boot, it was very comfortable and could be worn all day. Didn't have any problems with the water proofing nor snake blocking, but didn't run into any snakes nor did i go in a lot of water. A couple of dislikes were the fact that the zipper system always seemed to get stuck and the buttons would never stay closed, i was constantly having to reach down and re-button them. They need to work on those two problems and then this boot would be superb."

"I am kinda disappointed in the snake blocker boot. For one the snaps on the side do not stay shut and then the boot feels like it is going to fall off. I'm going to send mine back for another pair hoping this was a minor default. Also the boots run kinda big. I wear an 11 in tennis shoes but the boots in that size are too big. I'm going to see about correcting that problem too."

"ordered a pair a few weeks ago. its early bow season here and the outside temp is still in the mid-upper 70's. the boots tend to get really warm if a long walk is made. I also recommend wearing high socks where the draw at the top rubs the calf of the legs. the zipper has worked up to par so far and seems to be cosistent. there real easy to clean with the carbon strap and insole. The waterproof has been watertight at this point putting them to use in a creek I cross at the farm to my stand all and all I have been impressed!!!"

"I purchased these boots last season and wore them twice to the stand and the zipper broke on the right boot. It will zip all the way to the top but opens up and doesnt stay zipped. On the other hand they are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. They are like wearing tennis shoes. I kept them just for that reason. As for the snake blocker....I dunno if they work and hope I dont find out."

"I'm sad to say that I will be returning these boots on my next visit to Cabela's. I got them home and slipped them on to walk around the house in and break them in. Very comfortable! But the positives stop there.
I tried to take them off...right foot zipper was a little snug but I got it unzipped. Left foot, the zipper wouldn't budge. I couldn't even get it to move with a pair of Vice Grips! I finally managed to get the boot off, but the zipper is still stuck in the fully zipped position and that's how it'll be returned to the store.
I didn't even get to walk through my sprinklers to test the water-proofing ability, but my main reason for getting them was the comfort and snake-proof feature. Too bad the zipper doesn't work."
