Substandard Rip-off,September 27, 2009
By MGNfrom Columbus, OH
"Many of the Gerber products I have used have been top quality and I've never had a problem. You can imagine my utter horror at how flimsy this product was. So flimsy in fact, that the telescoping handle which connects to the saw via a broomstick socket broke before my first use. Do not waste your hard earned money on this product. It will definitely not stand up to the abuse that we hunters put our gear through."

Gets the job done,September 18, 2009
By CriticalOfGearfrom Southwestern Manitoba, Canada
"This product is worth what I paid for it, but probably no more. The ratcheting feature of the pruners stick, so they won't open all the time without bringing them down and doing it manually. The saw takes alot of time to cut through even smaller branches, the power stroke isn't very long and unless you go painfully slow, it's on the noisy side, but I guess that's to be expected from a saw. Five feet isn't alot of length, definitely not enough to clear every shooting lane from the ground but this works well to keep in your pack in case you notice that one branch that keeps bugging you and is just out of reach."

disappointing product from Gerber,August 31, 2009
By cntrydocfrom Berlin, WI
"This thing is junk. I have gone through two of them now. The spring loaded mechanism that holds the pole extend failed on both tools during the first use. The saw is quite flimsy. I'll be sending the second one back for a refund."
