"I didn't have a good rain jacket in my closet and was planning a hiking trip to Oregon this Spring. I caught this one on sale in the bargain cave. I wanted a blue one but the only color availble in my size was yellow. So, I tripped the trigger and bought it. When it arrived I was very pleased with the color and the fit and finish of this jacket. Another quality piece from Cabelas. My Oregon trip went well and as you can imagine we had quite a bit of rain this Spring. I whipped on my Alaskan Rain Jacket during these events and kept warm and dry during my outings. The velco sleeve adjustment worked perfectly and the hand pockets kept me warm and dry. The jacket fits well, is light and easy to travel with, comes in a variety of colors and it won't rust."

"I purchased this jacket prior to an early June salmon fishing trip to the Queen Charlotte Islands off the Pacific coast of British Columbia. The weather there is typically in the mid 40's to mid 50's and is often rainy with wind. The jacket was well suited to shed the moisture and wind and with a little layering underneath, kept me plenty warm. I received several complimentary comments from others on the trip about the smart look of the jacket.
