"This is a well-made sweatshirt with what I would classify as a "medium-weight" sherpa lining. My son had his heart set on a heavier-type sherpa, so we returned this item. It would, however, be an excellent weight for a spring hoodie for our area (central Indiana.) It runs just slightly small in my opinion, so I probably would size up if my child were on the border between sizes."

"I purchased this hoodie for my son who seems to keep losing or breaking the zipper on all his other jackets. This jacket was much thicker and nicer than I pictured and is very warm. He loves it. My sister loved it so much she ordered one for her son also."

"We got this for our 8 year old son who spends alot of time outdoors. We personalized it for him with special patches he received when he became a junior park ranger. He has worn this jacket/sweatshirt everyday since Christmas! It has held up super well and finally I snuck it out of his room to wash it! It's super warm interior has kept him perfectly warm despite the cold Montana winter! Thank for such a great product! He also loves the fact that it says Cabela's....his favorite store!"

"I purchased this for my 8 yr. old Grandson. He is very pickie when it come to his clothes. He REALLY likes his new hoodie. He likes the zippered front vs the pull over. I thought it might be slightly thinner thru the body than most I have seen. He is slim, if he were not, it might have limited life span. But then, I think the slimmer size may be warmer for him on cold days. With our warmer climit I think that this will be his most used pc. of clothing this fall and early winter."
