"Catch us if you can",October 25, 2009
By ssforesterfrom bickmore, wv
"That should be the slogan for NAP. They have created the perfect rest. I have tried all types of rests throughout my hunting career and this rest is by far the best drop-away I have ever owned. Not only is it easy to set up but it is whisper quiet. Great work NAP!"

Reliable--NOT,September 1, 2009
By ratjonfrom Bastrop, TX
"Bought this rest to put on a new Diamond Black Ice. I was looking for something light and without cables and this seemed to match the requirement exactly. During the first 200 shots it proved very accurate (2" groups at 20 yds, 4" groups at 40 yards) and easy to operate; however, problems began after a few weeks of shooting. First, the rest would not operate except with a loud "click" as it moved downward upon the arrow release; later, it failed to drop at times. You may get by with an immediate 3D shoot, but I doubt you'll make the entire hunting season w/o problems from this rest. Hopefully, NAP can correct it for the future, but for now, I would go with some other rest that has been around for a while and shows reliable service, such as the QAD Ultra or RipCord."

Not as good as it sounds,August 27, 2009
By Royalwulff73from utah
"I averaged about a 30% fail rate on the rest falling forward. This would cause my point of impact to shift about 8" left @30yrds.
The small tips on containment bars both broke off over the first week.
I didn't end up with any torn fletchings, but most had marks on them from the rest not falling.
There is very little containment - maybe for 3D shooting it would suffice but stalking through the forest hunting I had to hold the arrow in place old school like with my finger.
I shot this rest for over a month in hopes that it would break in, but it's inconsistent results were just too frustrating.
I'm currently shooting the Octane Hostage Pro rest with great success so far."

Nap Quiktune Freedom Rest,August 24, 2009
By twobikersfrom illinois
"Put this rest on an Oneida Black Eagle. Took forever to paper tune, so much for Quick tuning, as it likes the nock point lower than most rests. This rest is very LOUD!! Not impressed with it, to many hours of tuning trying to find something that would work, then when you get good arrow flight, it sounds like a shotgun blast."

Good Concept,August 23, 2009
By Fastflight
"Purchased this item to replace the wisker biscut I was currently using. I was looking for something uncomplicated and this rest looked like the right choise. The concerpt behind this rest is great but the overall durability was less than expected. After 12 arrows the entire capture arm assembly went up in smoke upon release, parts going in all directions. The first 11 arrows were flawless and the rest was as silent as expected. I feel this could be a great rest but the capture assembly should be made of aluminum or titanium, light and stong. In addition the internal mechanism which drop the rest needs a little work to prevent locking up and not dropping as necessary. If these otem were addressed this rest would be a great product."

not so good,July 25, 2009
By MeanGene1from Minocqua, WI
"I purchased this rest and at first was impressed with how easy it was to set up, and quickly and accurately it would shoot, but it had a loud clicking upon arrow release and after a few nights of shooting it started to stick and not fall away, sending arrows everywhere. It was then returned."

Quicktune Freedom,June 16, 2009
By TheFistfrom New Mexico
"This would be a great rest if you were going to use it strictly on a 3d bow. It is way to noisy for hunting. The launcher makes a severe rattling noise when it drops. Imaging shooting your bow with all the nuts and bolts loose on your sight. Thats the noise this rest makes. I sent mine back."

Better than a whisker biscuit!!!,May 25, 2009
By Randomprecinctfrom Ashland, OR
"I prefer this rest over a whisker biscuit because it's just as silent, the same price, full containment, and it doesn't damage your fletchings like a whisker biscuit can after prolonged use. You can keep it up while stalking, and it falls due to the arrow causing friction. It doesn't alter accuracy at all, and it's easy to set up. A++ NAP!"
