Wildcat .22,

"This ammo works great for me. I feed it through my bolt action CZ model 452. Winchester's wildcat load is the only lead round noise .22 load I will buy. I shoot lots of other brand hollowpoint bullets but anytime I want to shoot a solid round noise I load up with wildcats. Very accurate and I have never had a miss fire."

"I own 3 Ruger 10/22's and a MK 6-7/8 Target and this ammo shoots flawlessly through all of them. I would suggest to others that have had problems that they need to make sure their chambers are clean so that the cartridge will seat properly."

Does not like my Ruger's,

"I have used, correction, tried to use this in my 10/22 and MKIII...it is very consistent, at least 2 jams per magazine with either one. When I load 5, I only get 1 jam..but no matter how you cut it it's a 20% failure. It may be just my 2 guns, but I use Remington with very few jams, maybe 2 out of 100 and with CCI, absolutely no jams whatever. It may be great in some guns, but didn't work for me."

A good all around RF round,

"I really like the Wildcat ammo. I use it with my Marlin 39A and Ruger 10/22 rifles, Ruger target 22/45 pistols. I never had a mis-fire or a dud. Free hand you can get consistant groupings at 25 or 50 yards. This is in sharp contrast to Remington's bulk pack ammo, which goes click .. instead of bang about 20% of the time.
Sent quit a few varmits to their just reward with this stuff."

"I purchased the 22 mag rounds to try in my colt single action. I have had the 22 mag cylinder since I purchased the revolver. I tried the 22 mag rounds and was very impressed with their velocity and striking power, much better than a 22 long rifle."

"There seems to be a pattern with Winchester .22 long rifle ammo...It will shoot from a Ruger 10/22. I own more than {10} ten .22 rifles..This ammo will jam and mis fire in Remington,Rossi,Weatherby,Henry rifles. I am currently in conservation with Winchester to correct the problem. For one the lip of Winchester .22 are smaller than most other .22 bullets,causing jams. Mis-fires are a Winchester problem."

"this is the best ammo for my ruger 10/22 that I can find. as of
the date of, 4/7/09 . (always use dry lube on on guns)
So far it is cheap,
(think) not much longer,!!"

"Overall a good .22 LR ammo. Out of the 500 round box, i had no misfires. The only thing bad i have to say about it is that some rounds give a low report (maybe 10 out of the whole 500) but other than that, its a fine product."

"I have a 22LR and if you try to shoot it with this ammo in it, it will jam almost every shot. Plus the lead makes the barrel much harder to clean, over all I would not buy this product. Seeing how you can get bedder ammo for less cost."
