Leupold TBR 750,November 15, 2009
By MDHunter2007from MD
"I Used this for archery hunting in MD. No matter how high I was, my TBR was never more that two yards different. I like to range certain spots out prior to a deer coming in and this is where the product fails. The display is in black so it is very difficult to see. I think there is a problem with the ship, because, you can not get angle reading after 50 yards in the BOW TBR feature. I also was trying to range many spots and I could not get a reading."

Not good inthe field,November 11, 2009
By shaunofrom Mason, OH
"Used this archery hunting in IL. No matter how high I was, my TBR was never mor that two yards different. I like to range certain spots out prior to a deer coming in and this is where the product fails. The display is in black so it is very difficult to see. I could not get it to range many spots and could not get a reading. Gave this product to my buddy and went back to my Leica and he commented on the exact same issues. The TBR is a nice but not nice enough without the other key features....like giving a distance and being able see it!! Returning it to Cabelas!!!"

Leupold® RX-750 by a Kansas Bow Hunter,November 4, 2009
By cybermedic33from Liberal, Ks.
"I have had my RX- 750 for about three weeks now. I had a little trouble getting it figured out at first. There are really more functions than a archery hunter needs. Once I got it set up and figured out I really like it. I have always used Leupold scopes and binos and have never been disappointed."

Good product,November 4, 2009
By Wezlfrom Virginia
"I have used this item for bow hunting and just used it yesterday black powder hunting.
It gives you you exact distance from a treestand for a bow shot and it gave me an exact reading on a doe at 200 yards through tree branches while black powder hunting. It is very compact and easy to use. I definitely recommend it."

"Ive used bushnell rangefinders and there ok but these are great? The true ballistic range feature is really a plus if u get very high in a tree or if u hunt mountains and big hills where true range is a must! small and light weight fits in your pocket! Really please and what i always expect from leupold!"

Leupold RX-750,September 7, 2009
By JustOK
"I got this as my first rangefinder. I am having problems ranging objects at around 40yrds which I think is crucial for bowhunting. It is hard to see the display during lowlight, and the optic quality is not as great. I wish I would have saved a little longer and got the RX1000 model as it has the red lettering and is much clearer."

Not perfect, but a very good rangefinger,September 6, 2009
By GlennPAfrom Pennsylvania
"First off, this is my first rangefinder so my experience is limited as far as rangefinders are concerned.
I researched all the other brands but came back to Leupold due to being a continually satisfied Leupold riflescope user. I have about 15 of their scopes currently in use.
I was skeptical of the past Leupold rangefinder models due to poor reviews and difficulty in use and setup but took a chance on this one.
Pros:
Easy to set up. I had it running about 10 minutes after reading the booklet and doing basic setup.
Very simple controls and easy to use in the field.
Extremely lightweight and compact.
Comes with a VERY nice carrying case and lanyard. Well made and it has a clip, a belt loop, and the lanyard to use in carrying the rangefinder.
Ranges objects quickly with great repeatability. I've ranged objects to 785 yards with it but after that distance it seems to be unable to find the distance. I realize that its only a 750 yard rangefinder but have heard that some rangefinders can range further than their basic specs under optimum conditions. The point here is that it works very good to the specified limits of its range.
The True Ballistic Range features and ballistic trajectory settings are easy to use and look to be quite handy. They give you hold over/under points or MOA "come-ups" based on your bullet speed/weight or arrow speed based on a known zero range. Very nice feature and easy to use.
Cons:
The optical quality does not seem to be typical of Leupold. The 6X monocular seems to have a yellowish haze and some distortion at the edges.
There seems to be some white "washout" and glare if you look in the direction of the sun or at a very bright reflective object.
It is only "weather proof." For the money, I'd expect "waterproof." Other brands of similar design are rated "waterproof" meaning something like "submerged 2 meters for 5 minutes." Nowhere can I find out what Leupold means by "weather proof."
Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend this product to others needing a good, quality rangefinder."

rx 750 great so far,August 25, 2009
By nwmibowhunterfrom michigan northwest lower penninsula
"ok so I have read all the reviews for the previous generations rangefinders by Leupold. As far as I can tell for those who really hated them it was because there were "too many options" and hard to figure out how to set up.
Whatever problems there used to be are all gone. I have never owned one before and the set up was as easy as pie. Just got it today and within 5 minutes I have it ready to try for both my bow and rifle(s)
The thing i like is that this unit gives you the option of calculating a holdover point OR TRUE yardage. All I really care about is having an accurate true yardage for BOTH BOW and RIFLE. I believe I now have that with this unit.
I will admit I have not sat in a tree stand with it yet but the only reason I would send this back is if for some reason I am not able to range things with ease.
also the optics thru this 6x are GREAT. I may not even need binocs anymore for bowhunting.
one other comment I saw on previous models was the noise of the power and mode buttons when they click...I don't think they are loud at all?
anyway unless I have a lemon I expect the TBR to be accurate and expect to have little problems ranging where I hunt.
happy hunting"

GREAT RANGEFINDER,August 19, 2009
By steveo13from Oak Ridge, MO
"Overall very impressed with quality of build. Very accurate, lightweight and compact. TBR is an awesome feature and is very adaptable to weapon used. Only reason I considered giving it four stars is that it seems to have issues ranging 40- 50 yards at a medium sized target such as a bush. I dont know if the bush is too rough of a target and it confuses the unit or what. Used rangefinder on a 3d course and had no issues picking up targets at the same range. Also used it on deer the other day when I was planting a food plot worked like a champ."
