  • Instant, true "shoots-like" distance readings
  • VSI rifle mode has four sight-in distances
  • ARC compensates for extreme terrain angles
  • Bow mode delivers true horizontal distance
  • Rainguard HD antifog coating
  • Engineered with a compact, vertical configuration, the Legend 1200 ARC delivers instant distance readings to 1,200 yards, while calculating a true "shoots-like" distance based on terrain angle. Extreme up- and downhill angles alter the true horizontal distance to your target. Angle Range Compensation (ARC) accounts for the terrain angle when calculating distance, so you know precisely how to shoot the range – no guesswork needed. In Rifle Mode, it tells you where to hold and VSI™ (Variable Sight-In) allows the rifle hunter to choose between four sight-in distances. Bow Mode eliminates guesswork with true horizontal distance from 5-99 yards. Rainguard HD antifog lens coating technology.
    Available: Black, Realtree® AP HD®.

    Good Product, October 21, 2009
    By pcox

"The only trouble I've had is that on some 3D targets and objects at certain angles and reflections it won't read a yardge wich can be very frustrating for what you expect for the money. It is not a sreliable as my old Bushnell Legend in this regard but I like the fact that it can range twice as far. Phillip"

very good product, October 12, 2009
    By bvza320

"I bought this product to use it for small distances but it seams it works very good also to its own limits. I can get distance up to 1100 yards. Very clean picture with perfect performance. Works also through a window (I was very surprised).I have also a bow but haven't use it with this function, hope it will do it's job as good as for the rifle!
Very good quality for the money and performs it work as described from the manufacturer.

    Perfect Results, October 7, 2009
    By ohiocrossbow from Ohio

"I purchased this rangefinder after owning a Leupold RX-III for a year or so now. The eye piece on this rangefinder alone was worth trying compared to my Leupold. With glasses I could never really see all of what was showing in the Leupold without taking my glasss off. The Bushnell actually has eye relief and is very clear! The performance of the rangefinder was very impressive. Ranges came up faster than the Leupold and much farther ranges even though the Leupold specs. show it should outperform the Bushnell. I hate to admit it honestly that a Bushnell can outperform a Leupold, but I will give credit where it is due. Buy the Bushnell if you are serious about getting an accurate range."

    Several Problems, October 1, 2009
    By Sullins44 from Central Illinois

"The first one I had would not give yardages sometimes, even on close objects. I returned that one for a second one and it worked ok for about 2 weeks then it would lock up when starting. I took excellent care of both making sure to watch out for temperature and moisture and left it in its case (and box) when not in use. Very disappointed with this product. I ended up going with the nikon rifleman 550 and pleased with the results so far."

very poor product, September 12, 2009
    By mjr from Nebraska

"I recently purchased legend 1200 product and I am not happy with it. I went out to test it and I was ranging a deer what I thought was about 70 to 80 yards and the range finder was showing 365 yards. Did it multiple times with the same results. I further tested it on a road sign about 70 yards and still the same thing. I figured out that I had to hold the circle about 2 feet below the target. That is not good enough for me to still be guessing about distance. I will say very clear optics but very poor range finder."

Does what it claims, September 11, 2009
    By MagaliaHunter from Magalia, CA

"After studying all the rangefinders in this price range I purchased the Bushnell 1200. This thing does what it claims and then some. I can range trees out to 975 yards. My cartridge was in their charts and easily programmed into the rangefinder to show holdover/ bullet drop. Clear optics and very simple to use. Instant readings at any distance. Outperforms the Leupold RX II and Nikon 1200 in many ways. Clearly a winner."

    Great Rangefinder, July 16, 2009
    By LNDCRSR from Medford, OR

"I have owned 3 different brands of rangefinders. This is the first one I have owned that really does range what it is advertised to range. This rangefinder is by far the best I have owned. My previous rangefinder claimed to range longer distance than this one. However This Bushnell Legend 1200 will range longer distances. The Arc works great. Also love the VSI (Variable sight in) feature. Everything about this rangefinder works awesome. Much better than some of the other brands I have owned. Buy it and you will not be sorry!! The optics are clear as they could possibly be. My other rangefinders also cost much more than this one. You can't go wrong with this Legend 1200."

    Good ARC-Bad quality control, June 11, 2009
    By cmus01 from Lincoln, CA

"I purchased these rangefinders thinking they would be what I'm looking for. THEY ARE-but when looking through them I can see little dirt particles through the optics. I sent them back which takes a few weeks only to get another pair that doesn't have as MANY. STILL has some. You would think for the money they would be crystal clear."
