Serious Quality Issues With 6 point CLS Defender,November 2, 2009

"I have been satisfied with every single product that I have purchased from Cabelas except this one. There is a serious defect with my crossbow in the way that it was machined prior to assembly. It should not have left the factory. I spoke to 10 Point Customer Service and they gave me alternate instructions for assembly. Those alternate instructions did not rectify. I was shocked to have this type of issue on a product priced above one thousand dollars."

"Do not hesitate to buy this crossbow!! Tenpoint is top-notch in quality, and this thing is unbelievably accurate! Probably the most balanced feel of all crossbows that I tested. Only drawback - a little on the heavy side - but since it's balanced so well it still doesn't really feel any heavier than some other lighter crossbows. You can't go wrong with this one!"

"THIS YEAR, DURING THE SPRING GOBBLER SEASON, I DECIDED TO TRY TO TAKE A GRAND SLAM OF WILD TURKEYS WITH A CROSSBOW. I CHOSE THE 6 POINT DEFENDER CLS AND I'M AMAZED AT IT'S ACCURACY , EASE OF USE AND QUALITY OF CONSTRUCTION. IN FLORIDA, I TOOK MY FIRST OSCEOLA GOBBLER ON 3/9. SINCE I CAN NO LONGER SHOOT A BOW BECAUSE OF PERMANENT SPINAL DAMAGE I RECIEVED MY CROSSBOW PERMITT AND WENT ON TO NEBRASKA WHERE I TOOK 3 MERRIAMS GOBBLERS WITH MY DEFENDER, 3/27 THRU 4/2. NEXT ON TO TEXAS WHERE I CALLED IN AND TOOK TWO RIO'S WITH MY NEW BOW. I WENT NEXT TO OKLAHOMA AND SHOT ONE ADDITIONAL RIO. ON SATURDAY, 4/17 I GO TO KENTUCKY FOR AN EASTERN AND HOPE TO COMPLETE MY FIRST GRAND SLAM WITH A CROSSBOW. THIS IS AN AWESOME CROSSBOW THAT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANY ARCHER WHO HAS A PERMANENT DISABILITY OR FOR ANY ARCHER WHERE IT IS LEGAL TO HUNT WITH.
