Not that strong!,November 8, 2009

"After having the tripod for about 4-days of hunting, the back rest support is starting to peel away from the seat frame. The welds are peeling away similar to how you peel open a sardine can. The back rest has gone from 90 degrees to a 45 degree incline. They say it is rated for 300 lbs, but the seat back definitely isn't and I weigh not even close to 300 lbs.
I think if they could beef this area up with a brace I would give it a 5 star rating. I have contacted customer service. I will see what happens."

"set it up a couple weeks ago, put together and went up real easy, seems to be a little heavier than 60 LBS though. Crawled up into it with ease, for the price you can not go wrong, The shooting rail seems to be a little farther away than I would like but depends how tall you are, I have yet to shoot my high powered rifle out of it yet but it should be good once I got it stationed and peged into the ground"

A Winner,August 25, 2009

"Both of the properties I lease for whitetail hunting have been extensively cut this year. One was completely clearcut and the other had 75% of the trees removed. I've got an older 15 foot Cabelas tripod which is an excellent product but due to its heavy weight takes 3 men to move and install. Big Games' new Pursuit 12 footer is easily man-portable, even for a guy like me with a surgically repaired lower back. You can place it virtually anywhere you need (clearcuts, powerline right of ways, field edges, inside/outside corners of bean fields, edges of cattail marshes, etc). If you place it in some kind of cover you can even bowhunt from it. This stand fills a definite niche for many hunters. Kudos to Big Game treestands for developing this product. It's greatly appreciated by this hunter."
