"Do NOT buy this stand for bow hunting. Unless you can shoot with either hand of course. I hunted out of this stand and had deer walk past my right side. The problem was that it is impossible to turn around without making noise. It's even tough to shoot straigh ahead! The platform needs to be larger and more level. For some crazy reason the designers decided to put the platform at a different angle than the seat making it difficult to stand. If you bow hunt I would suggest that you buy the one with the swiveling seat. Remember, there's a reason this thing is on sale!!!!"

"Did'nt think that a big wide comfortable seat and a small foot platform would be a downfall. Untill the deer walked up from behind the tree and then walked to the side that I did'nt have a shot. It's really just a sit down stand. I don't feel comfortable trying to stand and turn to a shot handsfree. Just did'nt think of that. It is a good stand, real sturdy once sucured to tree"

"I bought this stand at the end of last season to add to my array of stands for this year. I just finished putting it up in a very nice spot on my property. It was very easy to put together and easy to set up. It seems very stable and doesn't make any noise what so ever in my testing of it. I haven't hunted on it yet but can't wait until the Oct 1st opener. I would recommend buying a shooting rail of some sort, I bought one from Cabelas and I feel much safer with it around me and I can hang a camo blind around it to add to the concealment factor. I plan on buying another one of these stands this year."
