"I JUST BOUGHT THIS TREE STAND AND JUST INSTALLED IT IN A TREE. AS SOON AS I WENT TO SIT DOWN IT COLLAPSED. I AM SURE I WON'T GET MY MONEY BACK SINCE THE BOX IS GONE. ONLY BUY THIS TREE STAND IF YOU ARE BUYING IT FOR SOMEONE YOU DON'T LIKE."

At this price, step up to the $140 bracket...,September 5, 2009

"I hang a lot of ladder stands through bear season and deer season in Maine and probably own a few dozen. Save your money on this one guys. The ladder sections had to be hammered in because the metal was twisted and would not line up. Also, the rear support bracket that has the grooves that go against the tree...would not fit into place and neither were the holes in the right place. The holes for the screws were about a half an inch off. The foot platform is waaaay to small for me and I only have a 9 shoe and weigh 175lbs. There are no pads for the armrests, and also no pad for the shootin rail. They supply you with a velcro flimsy cover for the rail that's it. I have to buy cheap ladder stands for cost effective reasons...but I have never run into this problem before with Many other brands in this price bracket. Keep lookin' and bag a big one."
