perfect ground blind,October 22, 2009
By lucky13hunterfrom Coldwater MI
"i have had a chance to use this blind many of times on 3 different properties. the set up is very simple. it only weighs 20 pounds and is in its own back pack with plenty of room for other gear. i have set it up in all kinds of locations from a buck wheat field to deep in the woods and in any location i have not been busted by any deer. and ive had bucks walk out just 8 feet away. the velcro windows are kind of loud but i just remove the tall corner windows and my field of view is great. if you are hunting from a ground blind though i would recommend a directors style chair, i bought the tripod style first and after an hour of use i went to get a new chair. it was very uncomfortable. this blind is worth every pennie."

Cows do a number on blind,October 14, 2009
By TxBowfrom Katy, TX
"Put this new blind out 1 week before the opening of bow season. Walked to the blind the first morning to find the goats and cows had chewed up the windows and shoot-thru mesh. I had to rotate blind 90 degrees during the hunt because there was a big hole in the back of the blind so every deer was snorting and blowing at me. Reset the blind and did some patch work on it, to find out they destroyed it again 1 week later. Had other blinds in the same pasture, and they left those alone. It does have a strong odor to it out of the box that the cows and goats obviously like. Great blind but don't put it where the cows and goats can get to it.
Great room, great windows. An awesome bow blind, I think I may have to shoot a few cows to get them to leave the blind alone."

Great blind at a good price,October 5, 2009
By Kracklebackfrom St. Charles, MO
"If I only had one word to describe this blind it's."WOW"! My experience with "hub-style" blinds is like having a root canal without any anesthetic. One big plus with this blind is the fabric...not that "shinny" stuff, but a "brushed" material that is much quieter. Set up the first time was a little intimidating, but once you figure it out, it's quick and easy; take down is even simpiler. The carrying case has shoulder strap that are comfortable and the bag has enough inside room for the blind and a canvas chair. Only drawback is the weight. I hunt public land and that means packing it in and out for every hunt. It take a little getting used to but if you're spending the day in the field, it a small price to pay."

Great Blind,August 10, 2009
By ATSAKPRfrom Aurora IL.
"My Bone Collector Blind came in the mail right on time just like all of my Cabela's stuff does. Set up was a breeze, just lay it out as shown in the instructions and pull the hubs out, it's that simple! Everything fit easily in the back pack it came with after I was finished, which I was happy to see. Some other complaints I've read on various hub blinds were the hubs tear loose but that's not the case with this one, it's well built. If I had to pick something that I think will wear out on the Bone Collector Blind it would be the elastic in the bands that hold the window flaps in place and that's not a big deal. The up side to those bands is that they're silent to open and close. Another complaint was the velcro around the windows. Some feel it's so loud to remove that it would scare the game. For my hunting situation, I like it becouse it holds the screens very tight around the whole opening so there should be less interference should I shoot a broadhead through it. Also, I know what windows I can expect to shoot through so I would already have the screens off in advance, not when I'm hunting. I also like the virtical openings for bow hunting, my wifey would almost certainly hit the bottom of the opening on the Double Bull Dark Horse that I almost bought (for double the money). I don't know how well it will hold up to the weather that I intend to put it through but so far I'm quite happy with it! I consider myself a tough critic on hunting equipment and don't mind spending more for a qulity product but I really couldn't find an extra $200.00 worth of value in the Double Bull."

Reasonable Quality Blind,July 26, 2009
By DSylvefrom Avid Archery Hunter from Hopkinton, MA
"Easy to setup but takes a little practice to take down and fold up quickly. Had a few stitching problems with the things that are used to keep the windows closed. A couple fell off on first use. The Velcro used for the screens is a bit annoying. It’s not possible to quietly take the screens off. Plenty of room inside to shoot a bow. Seems to be pretty water resistant. Had it setup in the yard for several weeks to air it out and it weathered some major thunderstorms with no leaks and did not get blown over by high winds. Overall I’m pretty happy with it."
