"Pros: Good pins. Nice size (diameter). Bright pins.
Cons: Had some annoying vibration noise (fibers rattle against plastic shield. I fixed that with a spot of clear silicone to lock them together. However, the fixtures repetitively vibrated loose. Almost impossible to tighten down. Since the site is extended, vibration is maximized. Lock nuts kept vibrating loose... site moves... not good. Finally gave up on it.
Great design. I really liked the concepts. In practice however, they just did not engineer it to hold up. Very temperamental... not a robust design. I returned it for a Copper John Dead Nuts. MUCH happier."

"I bought this sight to replace a square-shaped sight that was currently on my bow. I have not used it in a hunting situation yet and have practiced with it for about 2 weeks.
The sight comes with a sight light that you can turn on/off. Unfortunately, it does not come with instructions on how or if you can change the battery. The pins are much brighter then what my previous sight is. I like the ability to make adjustments without the use of tools. I can adjust elevation and windage without the use of tools. You'll need a hex wrench to adjust each individual pin, though. To lock the windage and elevation, you turn this know with a small, screw-in part , 1 inch long, that you can unscrew and place in various holes. There is one knob to lock the elevation and another to lock the windage. You twist this to tighten everything up. Unfortunately, I lost one of the screw-in parts already and I've only had this sight for about 2 weeks. It must've vibrated loose while shooting or while in the bow case.
Overall, I believe this sight is a nice addition to my bow. I cannot give it a 5 star, due to losing a part so easily."

"Well picked this up after a different sight came in the mail really messed up. Went to Cabelas and got a refund. Looking through the archery section trying to replace my TruGlo Extreme. The reason to replace the extreme is the fiber are exposed on the pins and I broke 2 of them last elk season in bad brush.
Well picked up the super slam and I am very happy. Works great really bright might be to the point I will complain. Its hard to see a target in the shade if your in the sun around noon. Should be awesome come morning or evening hunt. One thing to worry about is the mount. I shoot a Mathews DXT with the one piece quiver. Well the sight makes your remove the quiver to mount due how close it is to the quiver bottom arrow holder bar. After mounting I was able to get the quiver on but its very close and its not easy for me to swap it on and off. Not really a TruGlo problem more of a Mathews design.
Over all love it pins are bright and solid. Light is adjustable from bright to dimly on which will make shooting in the evening under heavy timber better. Very sturdy sight with plenty of adjustment."
