"Three days of white water rafting on the Salmon River... shoes drain great. No sloshing around when leaving the water..excellent drying time.. nice to don DRY shoes the following morning. Have had other brand shoes..no compairison. excellent shoe. tks!"

A decent shoe for light walking and boating,May 12, 2009

"I'd call this a decent shoe if you are into light walking/hiking, but the thinner soles just don't give a lot of protection against rocks and exposed roots. As a deck shoe, it's great, with really good grip. If you are looking for a general purpose hiking shoe that drains water, there are much better ones available. Would I buy this agin, I think yes, knowing the limitations."

"The shoes are very comfortable and really stick to the boat deck even when wet. The only problem I have with the shoe is the salt water leaves very noticable salt film on the leather parts of the shoe. They looked really worn after one day on the water. I washed them with fresh water and that seemed to help but right after coming in they look like a salted pretzel.
I would buy them again, sole and grip is very good."

"I was expecting an all around walking / hiking shoe with good water drainage and ventilation.
Unfortunately, the shoe is much better suited as a deck shoe. There is virtually nothing between your foot and any type of uneven terrain.
I ordered my normal shoe size and it was close to ½ size to small too.
I exchange these for the Cabalas GTX X4 all terrain shoes."
