Double gun mount is awful,

"I bought the double mount and put it on my ATV for the Colorado elk season. I can say without a doubt that this is the worst product I have ever purchased from Cabela's. Within a few minutes of starting down the trail, bolts started vibarting loose. With only one gun in the rack, the thing lasted about 20 miles. When I put a second gun in the rack, the entire rack broke off within 2 miles!!! And it broke in several places!!!!! What a piece of junk!"

Rhino Grip XL Gun Mount,

"I needed a gun rack that could mount on my ATV's front metal cargo basket without interfering or modifying anything.
I bought other brands and could not get them to mount in the position I was wanting.
Finally Kolpin released this model and I had to try it. It was a perfect. I was able to mount it on the side of the basket between the handle bars and the basket. It was low enough for firearms to be out of site and I did not have to worry about my rifle or shotgun being taken out by branches while enroute to hunting spots.
They grip so well that I do not use the rubber straps. In fact maybe they grip to well.
When mounting you definetly want to use some thread glue to ensure the hardware doesn't vibrate lose."

"We use the Rhino Grip on UTVs and RTVs to carry habitat equipment for field work in edge feathering, road access clearing and for fire control. Pole saws, axes, fire rakes, flappers are all carried easily and safely to and from work areas very efficiently using the Rhino Grips. Mounted on front or rear racks, dump bed boxes or even on trailers, the grips provide quick and safe transport of equipment and easy access. Mounted in the grips, maintenace of pole saws is much easier as well. Highly recommended for field work, and yes they are great for firearms and bows."

to much movement,

"Installed on a Polaris Sportsman 500 (2001). The double mount has ALOT of play and movement in it which on ANY small bumpy road my guns were moving around way too much. The single mount was more secure however. It was the way the base mounted together not the actual U section you put your gun in. I will be looking for a different brand."

"I like the old ones better. These can be fitted to lots of things and turned easy in all directions, its also the downfall of this product to many things can go wrong. I have already lost some screws from it but they can be replaced will just glue the treads next time i put it on then all problems might be solved"

"Nice product and heavy duty. Everything you'd expect plus the grippers almost make the straps unnecessary. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the straps are not fastened in any way. I was turkey hunting last week and every time I removed my firearm I had to find a safe place for the straps so they didn't get lost. I guess a person just needs to tie them on or something. Other than that, very nice. Fully adjustable to suit any angle needed for installation."
