"I had been using a 2' 2x4 to indicate where to stop in my garage and had to move it back into position about one every 3-4 days. I became interested about about Cabelas' parking mat from the catalog but was hesitant to buy one due to a couple negative reviews. that said the product moved and buckled. Since it was relatively inexpensive I decided to give it a try. I have had it for about 2 months and, yes, it does move a little, but not like my old 2x4. I outlined it with a magic marker and it hasn't moved more than an 1/2 inch. I think the negative reviewers probably drove onto it too fast and braked. It has buckled a little between the front and back stops but that has not been a problem. If you have a garage and want to position your vehicle accurately, I think this is an inexpensive solution."

"Unfortunately I purchased 3 and these mats do not work well with larger vehicles. Even the smallest car we have (Ford Escape) you can just barely feel it when you drive on to it or most of the time over it."

"The mats work well. The reason I could not give this product a 5 rating is because it moved around once you turned the wheels while backing out. To rectify this problem I bolted the units to the garage floor. My wife loves them; it allows her to park her car at a consistent location each time to give her easy access to the trunk should she need to close the garage door."

"These parking stops don't work. They contnually slide out of place as you drive on them. The tongue doesn't keep them in place. Regardless of the speed you approach they slide when you go over the first hump and hit the stop. I tried gluing them down to the slab but no adhesive will stick to the stops. They juse popped loose and slid again."
