"We bought this for our deck and love it! It dose not throw off as much heat as a traditional bonfire pit, but it is warm enough to sit by and feel toasty! It adds a lot of ambiance at night and is very attractive on our deck! The kids roast marshmallows on it too! We did have to buy more lava rock... it did not come with enough to cover the bottom. We are thinking about changing it to logs? Over all we are very happy with it!"

"This product was very easy to setup and get working. And it does provide a decent amount of heat and it's nice to look at. Just remember when you light it, you need to press the gas knob in for 5-15 seconds then release it after it's lit."

Great propane fire bowl for the patio or deck., July 9, 2009

"This propane fire bowl was perfect for the deck. I like the idea of turning on and off when needed as compared to using a wood fire pit. One 20lb tank lasts about 9-10 hours. It has a nice flame just like the photo. It comes with a cover.

Heat goes up so it does not project heat very far. I would like to see more lava rocks come with the unit. I went and got an extra bag.

Overall, I'm pleased with the unit and would recommend it to enjoy on the deck or patio with friends and family."
