"I had purchased a total of eight sets of these dishes to get five good ones. Cheap chinese quality. Many plates and bowls were warped, they would teeter on a flat surface, rocking back and fourth or were slightly out of round having a flat spot on the rim. Little consistancy and the cups were bad too, they had problems with handles being rough with bumps. I love the pattern and was forced to inspect each peice and making of the eight sets, five which were all decent enough to keep. I had to switch pieces out to make a complete set with the quality I demand and expect. Aside from the major inconvenience I am now happy with my new dishes. I advise anyone who buys these "check them over for major quality control issues""

Dinnerware only one disappointment,April 23, 2009

"The dinnerware is just what we wanted with one exception. We had the Loon Dinnerware from Cabelas, but the bowls and cups were much too large. The sizes of this set are perfect. The only disappointment is that we assumed the pinecone decoration was green. It certainly looks that way in the catalogue. However, in reality, it is black. We would have preferred green."
