"I thought my shooting with iron sights was over untill I installed the Thompson Center Fiber Opitc Sights. I am at the age where I would see only a fuzzy sight picture, but now I will buy another set for my old stand by. Thanks for a good product. Easy to install. WoodsmanLen."

Problem solver,
September 8, 2008
By Barebones
from Colorado High Country
|
"This fiber optic site is the answer to the problem of having trouble seeing your sights in the dark timber and on cloudy days. My wife was complaining that her front sight just disappeared last year when she attempted to take aim back in the dark timber. The fiber optic site cured this completely and she is estatic. If there were to be a criticism it would be that there is no pin-point aiming at distance but for the distances suitable for a muzzleloader it is quite adequate."

Encore fiberoptic sight,
August 5, 2008
By ekim
from London, Ohio
|
"My older Encore 209 did not have fiberoptic sights and I wanted to upgrade for an upcoming Colorado elk hunt. The rear sight fit perfectly. The front sight protruded way over the muzzle, so I had to install it backwards, use the dremel to grind off about 1/4" and cold blue the ground off end."

New sites for old muzzleloader,
January 8, 2008
By meatprovider
from Minnesota
|
"This site mounted perfectly on my Thunderhawk and was extremely visible in any type of lighting conditions. It allowed me to clearly see both sights and target, more of a problem for us older hunters each year. Good pricing too, compared with Thompson Center's fiber optic sights on their web site. Thanks Cabela's."

Thompson Center Fiber Optic Sights,
January 7, 2008
By Lundwalleye
from Florence, Co.

"These fiber optics open sights are the best . I was able to see the front sight like it was bright daylight even when it was almost dark. At 70 years young you need a sight that really captures the available light. a well designed product."

November 22, 2006
By snowmoon
from Colorado mountains
|
"I have been usng these sights for six years. They have been great in low light, easy to see the sights and the target. I highly recommend these. This year they brought back a very big cow Elk as testament to the sights at a range 80 yards through trees on a mountain ridge."
