Needs more threads !!!,June 22, 2009
By NeilVfrom Annapolis, MD
"First let me say that this is generally a great system. Very easy to change ball sizes on the fly without tools. Secondly this is my second set, so I must like it. That is the good news.
The bad news is that the "extra long threads" are not cut in far enough to tighten the post to the hitch bar. It required going to the hardware store for some Grade 8 washers to serve as spacers so I could tighten the post on my class 3 hitch!"

"I love the adapt-hitch-ball the only problem is if you leave a ball on it will rust on so you cannot take it off. I am going to buy another one as I had it rust on."

Hitch Ball,April 8, 2009
By GJFlyfishermanfrom Grand Junction Colorado
"The only problem with this is the threaded shank is too long and will NOT work in most applications. I had to cut a 1 inch long pipe to shim the nut so it would tighten. And then cut off the excess. I wouldn't buy it again."

Why to long,April 8, 2009
By juJitsu1from Wyoming
"When I orderd this I didn't see on the discription on how long the grip length (non-threaded portion) of the shaft was. The grip is about 1.5" and the overall length of the shaft is 3.5+. I had to use 3 thick washers and a lock ring to be able to use it in a standard hitch. I see why it was on sale."
