Walk stool,September 13, 2009
By Bigwheelsfrom Covington, Indiana
"I purchased the stool because of back surgery, and being unable to stand for extended periods. The stucture of the stool is excellent, but it has to be on a very level surface. It was not good on unlevel surfaces in Canada. Also the surface needs to be very solid. Overall it was OK."

"Easy to set up. A little uncomfortable for the larger set. One tough unit, though. Will carry in car all the time."

Walkstool Basic 60,September 4, 2009
By Lonskisfrom Seattle, WA
"There are two different types of Walkstools, the Basic and the Comfort Model. I am not positive but I think Cabela's description may be for the Comfort model although they are selling the Basic. The only reason I think this is that we purchased the Basic 60 and it does not have two locking adustable heights. You can sit on it without the legs extended but it won't stand up by itself in this position. Other than that the stool does work as advertised. I am 6' and 220 pounds and the seat is a tad bit small for me. The Basic models don't have a shoulder strap but you can use the closing strap to connect it to a belt or backpack. I actually sent this one back and got the Cabela's quad stool. It isn't quite as tall but the four legs create a square seat that gives me more room to sit comfortably. I also has a mesh compartment to store things and a shoulder strap for carrying."

"The stool was as advertized. I only wish the full walkstool line had been made available as I might have chosen a larger model. The basic 60 seat is smaller than desireable."

Stool, well made,July 24, 2009
By Marylandfrom Southern Maryland
"I ordered the basic model, i.e. the height does not adjust... that was a mistake.
It is lightweight, well made, and I have used it daily since purchase."

Best 3 legged stool that I've had.,July 6, 2009
By Lesthebirderfrom Roy, Utah
"I spend quite a bit of time birding. When I stand for a long time my legs give out on me. I thought that a 3-legged stool would be light enough to carry and give me an opportunity to sit and give my legs a rest. I googled Cabela's and saw the stool. I liked it because it gave me 2 options for height. It has proven to meet my need. It is lightweight, takes only a few seconds to set up and puts me at the right height for watching the birds. It does wonders for my legs. Last week we were climbing a rather steep hill. My legs started to give out near the top. I sat down for a few minutes and my legs were just fine. It folds up quickly and allows me to stay up with the rest of the group. Thank you for a wonderful product."

"This stool is very comfortable, and compact fits in the bag with my blind. I wish it had a back rest. But its the best seat I've bought."
