separately) in the memory card slot. To view the images and videos, just remove the card, and insert it into your

"I received this camera for Christmas and did not put it out until the next fall. The infrared's did not work and I wasn't getting any daylight pictures. When I tried to contact Stealthcam all I received was a busy signal. I emailed them and got no response. After three months of trying to contact them, I finally got someone on the phone. They told me it was out of warranty and would cost $110. I could even show them emails from when I had attempted to contact them before it was out of warranty. I would recommend you stay clear of any Stealthcam products."

"Purchased this about a year ago and have been fighting with it since the beginning. Keep trying to give it one more chance but now am totally frustrated and done with it. I won't be wasting any more time trying to make it work. Buttons are very sensitive, sometimes work, sometimes don't. Sometimes dectects movement. sonetimes doesn't. Instructions are not very clear, did call in to Stealth Cam customer service once, but they were not very helpful either. Now it is froze up, won't take any picture. Battery is full, goes thru setup, green test button flashes, but then it doesn't detect any movement or take a picture. Would not recommend buying this trail camera."

"I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA BEFORE CHRISTMAS LAST YEAR AND PUT IT OUT AFTER THE 2008 GUN SEASON AND CAPTURED SOME AMAZING PICTURES WITH IT. PICTURE QUILITY IS GREAT IR WILL REACH ALOT FATHER THEN IS TOLD. I HAVE NIGHT PICS. OUT TO 60 AND 70 FEET.I ALSO BOUGHT THE 12 VOLT BATTERY WITH IT. AND WE HAD ABOUT 10 DAYS OF PRETTY COLD NIGHTS AND DAYS -25 A COUPLE OF NIGHTS AND STAYED AROUND -15 DURING THE DAY. THE CAMERA NEVER FAILED AND THE BATTERIES NEVER DIED. THEN CAME THE SNOW THE EXTERNAL BATTERY WAS BURIED IN A FOOT AND A HALF OF SNOW WHICH TURNED TO ICE AND IT DID NOT FAIL... 1000'S OF PICTURES LATER. BROUHT IT IN FOR THE SUMMER AND PUT IT IN THE CLOSET NEVER TAKING THE BATTERIES OUT GOT IT OUT LAST WEEK AND TURNED IT ON AND FULL POWER ON BOTH THE EXTERNAL AND THE INTERNAL GAVE IT A QUICK CHARGE AND ITS BACK ON THE TRAIL. HAVE GOTTEN 500 PLUS PICS.SO FAR. THE ONLY THINGS THAT I CAN FIND WRONG WITH IT. IS THAT YOU CAN NOT SET FOR MOON PHASE. NOR DOES IT GIVE YOU ANY TEMPATURE READING BELOW 0 DEGRESS WOULD REALLY WOULD LIKE TO HAVE KNOWN WHAT THE TEM. WAS WHEN IT WAS SO COLD FOR THAT 10 DAYS AND I WAS GETTING GREAT PICS. "Great camera! Battery life is pretty good, lasted about 4,000 pictures. One time we got nearly 1200 pictures in about 10 days! Like the viewfinder in top, although it doesn't do much good on a tree. For an infrared camera, it has clear nighttime photos, and the daytime photos are fair. I wish though that it had a laser aim like some other cameras. Would help in setting it up on a tree. And if the animal is moving much it gets a little blurry. But other than that, it's a great camera!"

"The first one I got, the IR didn't work on it but Cabela's just simply exchanged it for another and since, it's been working great! I use it in the short video clip mode and I also have a 12 volt lead acid battery attached to it, so it will be out their for months! I have a total of 11 Stealth cameras and wouldn't purchase any other brand. I've got to 590's and a 540IR plus WD2IR's and they all work great!"

"My family purchased three of these camreas for me last year. Only one worked properly and the other two I had to return three times. The cameras I recieved would work for a week or two then return to the gairny photos like when the TV gets fuzzy. I was tired of returning the cameras and decided to deal with the grainy picture for the season. Then the menu display went bad on one of them so I have no choice but to return it. Stealth Cam wants me to pay $110.00 to exchange it for a reconditioned model and they will not garauntee it for more then 60 days. They have the records of me returning several cameras in the first few months but they say I'm over the 12 months from purchase so they won't honor any type of warranty. This is not a warranty issue, IT IS A POOR PRODUCT ISSUE! They had no interest in correcting the situation. I've already spent over $50.00 returning cameras to be supplied with more inferior products and will be sending it back with my $110 payment on top of the shipping. You can buy a decent trail cam for that same cost.
I can not in good conscience reccomend anyone buy this product."

"I purchased the Prowler to monitor our property. I have two and they work in tandem monitoring our driveway entrance and exit. I have also used it to capture video of people vandalizing a fence and opening a cattle guard. Probably not the original intent of the device but it works great. I have used it in both video and picture mode. I have 2GB SD cards (cheap) and they hold a ton of video and pictures. My only negative comment is that the motion trigger is a bit slow. If a vehicle drives in fast the camera triggers after the vehicle passes. I usually catch it going out on the second camera. Night vision works great! I can monitor my horses when the move through and have caught deer and bear coming through.
For us living in a remote area it give us peace of mind that if someone comes into our property we will know when it was, who it was and what they did while they were there."

"Got unit at christmas 08, put out a few days later, retrieved card 4 to 5 times from dec. to april, batteries need replaced after 4 months. During turkey season a trespasser took this unit off tree, so i bought another and a bear box with cable to secure it to tree and hid it better. CANT WAIT TO CATCH HIM IN THE ACT AGAIN. DIRTY HARRY 44###@@@##$$$##"

"THIS IS MY 4TH MOTION CAMERA AND PROBABLY THE WORST. I HAVE AN OLDER STEALTH CAMERA FOR YEARS AND THE ONLY PROBLEM I EXPERIENCED IS THE ONE LATCH BROKE. THIS CAMERA HAS BEEN A PROBLEM OUT OF THE BOX AND MAYBE IT IS JUST A LEMON BUT I CAN NOT EVEN GET THE CONTROLL BUTTONS TO FUNCTION HALF THE TIME. "Got this Trail cam for 2008 WI deer season, after some trail and error, Got some nice pictures. Only problem it got really cold some night and the cam would not turn on. Plan on getting the external 12v battery. It should have a better response when it’s cold out. I tried the video works great takes some impressive videos, Pictures turn out great again after height adjustments. Once it was locked in and the bears stop hitting my Trail Cam it worked great. And yes I said bears were hitting my cam. You can see the bear notice the trail cam and turn to it. And started to either hit the trail cam which held up good. I plan on ordering another trail cam (same type) and place it on the other side of the bait area, So i can see more on what is happening on the bait. One night I had over 20 deer and had some nice pictures of it.
Keep it save. Getting out in the wood is the only thing that matters. Take it kid hunting they will be our future!
