"I have had this reel for a few weeks now and have caught many fish with it already. I use braid so I keep the drag fairly tight and have not seen any problems with it. This reel seems to be impossible to back lash. I can cast spinner baits and buzz baits into the wind without an issue. I am able to cast spinner baits farther than ever before."

"This is my second 1000 Pro. I have had the first one for the majority of the season. I am able to cast this reel so much farther and do not have the backlash problems. I am able to pitch a light weight without an issue. I have had issues with the level wind on other reels with the gear slipping. This reel eliminates the entire problem. These are by far my favorite reels and I would recommend this reel to anyone."

"Great Reel, Great Design... Eliminating the levelwind eye should have been a no brainer... in industrial applications the oscilating roller is used to level wind thread, wire, etc onto spools. Just as US Reel explains it almost eliminates the cause for backlashes. Beyond that the reel casts a mile. Great feel in the hand... extemely smooth retrieve, well built, and durable. I bought a reel to experiment with prior to the tournament season, it has become my favorite reel. I strongly recomend that everyone try one for themselves. I run a charter business and will be replacing all my reels on the boat and with US Reel SuperCasters..."

"I NOW HAVE TWO OF THE SUPERCAST 1000 UNITS. I HAVE HAD THEM FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM, YOU CAN THROW A RED EYE SHAD FOR A MILE .THEY SEEM TO HAVE A GOOD DRAG SYSTEM AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PUT MUCH EFFORT IN CASTING THEM BECAUSE THEY CAST SO SMOOTH."

"I have had the 1000Pro for about a week now and absolutely love it! I do more finesse fishing than anything and I love to throw a weightless Senko. When I first saw this reel I was a bit skeptic, but when I threw my first cast with this reel, I was surprised to see that I could throw the Senko twice as far than any reel I used previously!
I have it mounted on a Falcon Original rod which makes a perfect pair. I suggest the 1000Pro because it has a forged aluminum handle and 7 stainless steel ball bearings (The regular 1000 model only has 3 bearings). The 1000Pro has a smokin’ fast 7.1 to 1 gear ratio whereas the 1000 has a 6.6 to 1 gear ratio. Either way, you must cast one of these reels and notice the greater casting distances! Hive five for US Reel!

"Hooked a 6 pound bass, reel bogged down under the pressure upon retrieve, line slipped sideways on reel making it difficult to handle the fish. Have been Bass Fishing for 45 years, never expierenced this previously. Do not like reel at all!"

"I have used the pro-1000 for a couple of weeks now, and am very happy with it. It definitely casts further than any other baitcaster reel I have used. I was not as worried about the product as others might have been......I already have one of their spinning reels (240,) and have been more than happy with it too. I also really like the faster rate of line pick-up I get with it. I do a lot of "frog" fishing for bass, and it gets them out there, and then buzzes them back in easily. It's my new favorite reel. I also have 2 shimano chronarchs."
