"This was by far the best tent that I have ever used or bought. First off the hinge door is absolutely awesome. You can leave the tent door unzipped and open without getting dirt and bugs inside because the hinge door also has velcro along the sides so that the door stays closed. The inside of the tent was very large no problem sleeping 8 people very comfortably. The tent was pretty easy to put for the first time. The only tricky thing is the rain shield. Once you figure out the way it is supposed to look then its easy sailing. As for being waterproof, I have not experienced any rain yet however in my camping experience the mornings are always pretty dewy but with this tent you did not feel it at all. Not one thing was even damp and our air mattress was pushed up against the side. I do not have one negative thing to say about this tent. Worth every penny!"

"I went on a trout fishing trip in Decker Colorado. The tent was easy to set up once you studied the directions. The directions are printed in very small print and it would be nice if it can be larger for middle aged people needing bifocals. The tent is designed with a solid door, and was very roomy. We did not have any trouble packing up the tent into the carrying bag. This is my second tent purchased from Coleman. The first is 30 years old. I expect this one to last a life time. My father worked for Coleman for 40 years in management and I am glad that Coleman products exhibit quality standards like they were when William Coleman started the company."

"- We set the tent up in the backyard - it was very easy to set up -we fit all of us (5) comfortably - w/air mattresses - I live in New England - we have had a lot of rain - it DID NOT LEAK!!!"

"We purchsed this tent for the size and if the rainfly had a higher rating we would have kept it. We put the tent up in our back yard within 10 minutes. The directions were great. The hinged door was cool but didn't like to stay closed, because the velcro didn't line up very well. We are returning it because it ended up with water inside the next mroning and it didn't even rain! The humidity and lack of ventilation in the tent ledto condensation that accumulated and then dripped into the tent. It continued to happen even after the seams were sealed and the rainfly/tent waterproofed. Given where we live I don't want to take a chance of getting caught in the rain in this tent."

"Set-up went fairly slow for the first time but it was simple enough that the next time I set it up it will go much smoother. I wouldn't recommend this tent to anyone taller than six foot or so because standing up in the middle of the tent could become a challenge. I just got back from a 3 day camp and there was enough room for my queen size, my wife's "necessities" and misc. equipment with ease. It also stormed one of the nights and we stayed dry, which is pretty important. I don't care who you are. The only negative thing about this tent is that I could only stand up in the middle."

"This tent is super nice I love the Awning in the front you can set your shoes outside the tent under it and they wont get wet if it rains. Has alot of room my husband and I take along 2 dogs we put there crate in there plus a hudge queen air mattress plus another qeen air mattress plenty of room to walk around and the hinged door is great wouldn't have one without it!! It rained on us poured Everyone elses tent was wet ours was dry as a bone!!"

"We have used the tent twice and could not be happier. It went up very easly and takedown was super fast. Roomy and the openess, made camping fun. We have not yet encountered any rain but we are not the least bit concerned. Plenty of room to sleep eight. Quality so far appears to be excellent. We cant wait to go again !!!!!!"
