Good idea - good quality - stupid design,July 24, 2009
By EducatedBuyerfrom NC
"The quality of the product is excellent and the idea good but it makes no sense to use anywhere in any situation. Once you are in, there is zero breeze and if the weather is above 75 you will bake. If there are any type of bugs, you're done because there is no mosquito net. Very rain proof design but you'll have no idea what's happening outside because the view points are too limited. Better off with a traditional camping hammock and tarp."

Good Tent!,July 18, 2009
By Lasermagfrom Pecos, New Mexico
"I wanted to give it a 5 star rating but when camping it can be hard to find two trees about 10 feet apart so I gave it a 4 star.
Setting that aside, the Eureka Chrysalis Hammock Tent is very easy to setup and has good construction. It only takes a couple of minutes unlike most conventional tents where it takes time driving stakes and finding a flat soft ground to sleep on you won't find it in this.
It is incredibly comfortable with or without a sleeping bag, I preferred a sleeping bag. There is extra room which I found out to store your gear at your feet and also over your head to keep them dry.
The Eureka Chrysalis Hammock Tent again is easy to setup, easy to disassemble, packs away quickly, light and also keeps you from ground unwanted ground critters.
