Not for rectangular bags!,November 4, 2009

"This sack works very well as a waterproof-breathable cover. Be aware that the product description or the dimensions given do not state that this is cut for a mummy-type bag (much narrower at the feet than the stated dimensions). As such, your big, comfy rectangular bag will not fit in this bivy. I tried with my rectangular bag, but it was too much bunched up in the bottom of the bivy to be comfortable."

"Yeah it has some shortfalls, but what bivy dosen't, I have four of them and each brand has a few things you would like to change. Just tested this bivy sack for 16 nights in eastern oregon. It is very roomy I found it to be waterproof, one thing cabelas did well is the way the hood cinches around you. It is positioned very well. Overall a very nice bivy for the money."
