Leaky Zipper,October 14, 2009
By GreatUSACompanyfrom South Dakota
"I bought this sleeping for a elk hunt in Wyoming. I bought the -15 model, because in the my experience the ratings are usually light. I went on my early season archery elk hunt where the temperatures dipped down to the high thirties at night. Although the bag was comfortable and warm as long as I stayed away from the zipper. I could feel air leaking in through the zipper, which caused my feet to get cold. If it had actually been -15 I would have frozen my toes off. It would be an ok bag if used with a liner, but you should not have to use a liner when camping in 50 degree warmer weather than its rated for.
Also the strings to tie it in a role, should be modified to straps with clips, because it is very difficult to tole it and hold it and tie the strings at the same time."

I can't believe what you get for the price!!!,July 17, 2009
By GilaMonsterhunter
"After drawing for one of the best elk hunts in New Mexico and the best hunt in SWNM "16A" I made a trip to the Calelas store in Glendale, AZ. While there, I found these bags on sale, so went ahead and got one.(-15) I'm extremely happy with this bag! It's made very well and after my 2 day bow shoot, learned real quick that this is one hot bag! I can't wait to use it on my hunt, I just hope the elk are bugling, because I might not wanna get out of it come the cold mornings."

Trapper Sleeping Bag,April 11, 2009
By USSMidwayCVA41from Southeastern Massachusetts
"This bag is extremely comfortable. Plenty of room for larger and longer people. I have used it hunting, fishing and camping with the Boy Scouts. Very easy to use the zipper. The inner material is very soft and you don't want to get out. The outer material is of a soft but rugged material. This bag is not a light weight bag. I knew this when I purchased it. Very warm even during the damp cool early spring and late fall weather of Massachusetts. A fleece liner extends the usage of this bag dramatically for real cold weather. I wish it had one more strap, but I use a bungie cord that works just fine. A GREAT BAG."

Cabela's Mountain Trapper -15 degree Sleeping Bag,March 30, 2009
By khivelyfrom Chicago, IL
"The bag is made very well and has a good amount of room to stretch out in(34 X 80). The zipper is very easy to use and doesn't get caught on the fabric like other bags I have used in the past. It is very warm, very comfortable and very soft and it was on sale, so that's a bonus! Well worth the money and it's a bag you'll have for years to come. Don't believe the hype with other bags that cost $$$, this bag is perfect!"
