Stay informed of battery age and capacity with the Battery Bug. Install it on your boat and you'll be aware of the status of your battery before leaving the dock. It is the only battery monitor that communicates: % battery life remaining, lost capacity and battery charge level. So much more than a volt meter, the Battery Bug measures the battery's capacity every 60 seconds and displays the battery's real-time charge level ? independent of battery voltage or current draw on the battery. As your battery gets older and nears the end of its life, the unit will alert you with an audible alarm that your battery should be replaced ? before it is too late. You will be able to use the battery to the end of its service life without risk of failure. Critical audible alarms indicate "low battery charge" and "replace battery now."
