"This stuff is amazing! Extremely lightweight, well packaged, and most importantly, it lights very easily and burns strong. One important note is that you do NOT need to use a full piece to start a fire. You can just shave off a small amount of flakes and you will get plenty of flame to start a small fire with appropriate kindling. I bet I can get 5-10 fires started with just one piece of the WetFire.

"I float remote arctic Alaka rivers each fall and needed a reliable, yet lightweight and easy to pack firestarter. This is it. Just buy it now and thank me later. Nothing like it on the market. Use it to start a fire. Easy as pie. Use it to preheat your stove. Beats fire ribbon any day. Just a perfect firestarter. But hide some in different bags if you fly with it. TSA loves to take this stuff. Seems they love it as much as I do. Ha ha.. It packs safe and all, just TSA being TSA.

"The cubes are small, lightweight and have a a shelf life of years. The cool thing is they will light soaking wet with nothing more than a spark which could come from a flint and steel or even a butane lighter out of fuel. These will burn hot for at least 15 minutes which is long enough to dry out wood tender and get a proper fire going. If you are a hunter, hiker, backpacker or adventurer you could find yourself in a survival situation unexpectedly. Having a few of these cubes on hand could save your life. Expensive, but worth the money. Best fire starter I've ever used."
