"The knife is everything I was looking for. It's light but substancial, it's grip is comfortable in the hand, and it comes "sharp enough to shave". The F.A.S.T. feature is terrific, and is a fast and efficient method of blade deployment. The only "down side" is getting comfortable with the thumb safty. It takes a little getting used to. As a civilian carry knife, it's fast enough, light enough, and small enough to carry without discomfort. Bravo Gerber, nice knife, and thank you Cabela's for offering the Gerber F.A.S.T. Covert Knife."

"Overall, a nicely made knife, but the manual "safety" is very annoying. As well, the clip is not reversible, and thus you are forced to carry it in one position (tip down)."
