Each features a chart plotter with dual marine and automotive mode, high-sensitivity GPS receiver and a rugged case with IPX7 waterproof design. Both feature a brilliant 5.2" WVGA high-resolution, touch-screen displays and intuitive interfaces so you can navigate with confidence.
The GPSMAP 620 comes standard with worldwide basemap. Accepts BlueChart g2 Vision card, automotive mount and City Navigator NT available at garmin.com.
The GPSMAP 640 is pre-loaded with BlueChart g2 marine data and City Navigator NT road maps. The unit can receive XM WX satellite weather data in marine mode and XM Nav Traffic info with optional GXM 40 antenna and XM subscription.
