"OK, I know these are cheaper to begin with, but I expected much more. I usually wear Cabela's elastic-waist aged khakis but thought I'd try these since they were on sale. Horrible. Ordered the same size as I get in the khakis and these were way too snug. No room around the thighs and crotch. I like the material, though; I just wish the sizing was more accurate."

"I got these elastic pants b/c I am wearing a body/torso brace and I needed something that stretched and was comfortable.
They are also nice and lightweight. However, the first washing they were put in with some kids pants that had two crayons in the pocket. My Lakeside pants looked liked they had been loaned to an automobile painter!
I ordered two to replace the one pair b/c I liked them so much. I guess the first pair will be relegated to automobile repair or something."

"Outstanding pants! Very comfortable, lightweight, perfect for anytime of the year. Just enough elastic to provide a little extra give in the waist. Stylish, great for work or casual wear. These are hands down my favorite pants that I've ever worn, anywhere.
Until a year or two ago when Eddie Bauer discontinued their elastic sport pants I would have said those were my favorite. But they were much more expensive and didn't have belt loops. These are better quality and less expensive.
Buy a pair - heck buy two or three pair, you will not be disappointed."

"The pants are great, but the "charcoal" color fades after 1-2 washings, to a dark purplish color. The cargo pocket version is the same. And, the khaki and tan versions are not correct descriptions. They look good, but I am not sure which is which - one turned more olive drab, as another reviewer said. I do not care as much about color, so with ironing I use these for dressy casual (sport coat, tie) events as well as every day."

"I love the weight. They will be fine in Texas. I don't like the reverse pleats. I would prefer regular pleats or straight front pants. I did wash them before I wore them, put them in the dryer for a little while. I was worried about shrinkage but they did fine. The first day I wore them the stitching on the waist band started to unravel. All the way from the button to the first belt loop. Lets say that didn't impress me. I started to return them but it is over 30 miles round trip from my house to the store. So I just stitched over the part that came out. No big deal other than they were a brand new pair of pants. Leads me to question the over all quality. I do like the pants. I wanted something to wear that wasn't as heavy as jeans, these pants will do fine. Very comfortable. The jury is still out about value. Price ia a little high to be taking the pants home and having to re-sew the seams. Of course I know that seams come out of clothes all the time. I just wish this pants were of a little better quality. Maybe I was just lucky and got the only pair that the seams came undone."
