"I am a women's petite size 4 and usually I can wear a boy's size 16. This pant, on sale, was only available in a size 18. I read all the reviews for the kids and women’s 7-pocket hiker pants; took a gamble on the size and ordered 3 pair. Except for being too long, which I can easily fix, I adore these pants. Immediately sat down and ordered 3 more pair. I'm a nature photographer and I need deep pockets for batteries, memory cards, keys etc. The additional pockets with buttons are an extra plus. Love the quality and the fit. I may never wear jeans again! I think they will be the perfect photographer's hiker pants! I found the weight not too light or too heavy. Thanks Cabela's!!"

"These pants fit great. My daughters and I are small waisted and it is hard to find pants that fit in the waste - bravo. The pockets were great and the length was great - no hemming. soft fabric - good for travel and camping - I was very impressed with these pants and the shorts as well. I will buy more."

"If possible, take your child to a store and try the pants on (if they have them in stock). The size is much larger than it's supposed to be. I didn't send them back because my son will have a growth spurt again and should be able to wear them in the future. Right now they are hanging in his closet - probably for another year. Also, they aren't lightweight like one would believe - this is important for backpacking trips as carrying several pair of these things will add too much weight (when ounces are counted, this is critical). They won't be used for backpacking trips, but will for camping trips where a base camp is set up for the trip. Again, be aware of the weight if backpacking is your goal, and be aware the size isn't what it's supposed to be. Shipping was pretty quick and ordering was easy. Would like to see the actual weight of clothing put on the web site to make it easier to plan for hiking (instead of ounces per yard like is on the site now)."
