"I bought these then read the reviews and was apprehensive. The narrow foot opening makes the shoes a bit more difficult to get on but there is a lot of ankle support provided by the design. It is a tradeoff... I believe much to the benefit of the shoe. I really like these shoes. So much so that I bought a second pair. Very comfortable and excellent for hiking."

"I was a little unsure when I ordered these after reading the reviews but I love them. They slip on and off very easily but are snug enough around the ankles that you don't feel like they're going to come off if you step in a little muck. They're light and as comfortable as slippers on my feet. I haven't had them long enough to speak to their lifespan but they seem very well made. I wear them a lot."

"The materials used to construct the shoe were very high quality, however the opening was not large enough for your foot to be put in the shoe. I normally wear a size 9 but I ordered a size 10 and could not get my foot in the shoe."

"I have tried three shoes of this type including these. I have a hard time getting them on and after that they hurt the top of my foot. Cabelas have great products and this is not one for me."

"The shoes felt comfortable once I was able to get them on. I have a normal size foot and the shoe fit true to size but they are extremely snug getting you foot through the opening at the top of the shoe. It is certain the ankle area on the back of the shoe will be crushed down because of the small opening unless you use a shoe horn. Returned them."

"The upper part of the shoe has an alastic band that fit too tightly against the top part of my foot. My foot started to hurt within just a few minutes. I kept the shoe on while sitting at the computer and by the ten minute mark my foot was asleep and tingling. I took them off and I am returning them."

"I really like the Mocs. I had to get used to the elatisized shoe collar - being older I have to kind of work my feet into the Mocs. But once I have the Mocs on, they are wonderful. There is some material camo color difference (one more rust/tan and the other more green) - that would and didn't stop me from liking these Mocs."
