"I wanted the boots for being water proof and thorn proof more than snake boots. So far they have been water and thorn proof. I also like the weight of the boots. Don't know about the snake part . The only thing I don't like is the leather on the boots. Doing away with the leather would make them even lighter."

"these boots were very tough and comfortable ,I logged a lot of miles chasing antelope in the dakotas and we were hunting in 97plus degrees. they never got my feet to hot and were breathable and waterproof. the best feature are the cinch holders on the ankle,when you pull them tight they hold the bottom laces so you can tighten the top. GREAT BOOTS!!!!! O yah we had encounters with rattlers thank god they headed the other way."

"These are great boots. I need a light boot with alot of support because of a bad leg. I wanted them to be uninsulated for warm weather. Well these boots surpassed my highest hopes. I spent a week on stand amazed how confortable they were. They laced up fast and fit like a pair of slippers."

"Needed a waterproof Uninsulated Boot to hunt and fish in the boat and woods fall hunting in Kentucky can be hard on boots and fishing all day 8 to 15 hrs in the rain can make for cold ride back to camp. The boot's got here in 3 day's and I was working around the house that day so I put them on and wore them in the house all day they were so comfortable I didn't take then of till after dinner. yesterday I wore them for a 2 hr walk in the woods scouting for deer and they are everthing they say they are. Time will tell me more but good so far."

"These are great boots. I walked in these boots for a full day the first time I tried them on. I was going to break them in a few hours at a time and was pleasantly surprised to find out they didn't require any break-in time. I have since walked several days in these boots and have not felt as fatigued as I have with ankle high boots. They really are easy on your feet for long periods of time. I prowl the Congaree Swamp of South Carolina and there a plenty of rattlesnakes and cottonmouths and luckily haven't encountered any, but I feel confident wearing them. I have also spent an entire day in wet muck water with no leaks. The boots are also easy on - easy off. I don't think you can go wrong with these."

"This is a awsome product. Thankfully im not sure if the snake protection works (and hopefully I will never know)I would recomend these boots to anyone. Other snake boots i have tryed on were nowhere near as comfortable. I would recomend buying a size bigger than your normal size though."
