"I love these sandals and they are perfect for camping, hiking, walking in rivers, and also just lounging around. I was skeptical that with all of the straps there would be some part that rubbed on my foot. This was not the case and I highly recommend the shoes."

"The Keen Whisper sandals are a wonderfully supportive shoe, and I have worn them for hours right out of the box without any break-in period needed. I like that they are a slimmer style than the other Keen sandals, which can look a little clunky. As far as fit, I am an average B width, and these shoes fit perfectly in width (it is surprising that a previous reviewer had trouble getting their toes in, unless they take a wide width). I'm normally between a 9 and 9.5 in length, and the 9.5 in the Whisper fit just right. I have had foot trouble before and now am very particular about what shoes I buy - support and comfort are top priority as I am on my feet a lot in a very active job, and these shoes fit the bill. Another plus is that they are sandals and are comfortable and cool without having to wear socks, yet they offer the protection of having the toes covered and I can wear them for work."

Wish the sandals came in wide width sizes,April 21, 2009

"I loved the appearance of the sandals, but sadly I had to return them because my feet are too wide to fit in them. These sandals are so narrow in fact, I could not fit my pinky toe past the middle section of the shoe. I'm sure they would have been so comfortable had they fit appropriately. If these sandals are ever manufactured to accomodate a wide foot, I will not hesitate to purchase them again."
