"Lightweight, perfect fit. Sturdy enough for a 2 day 16 mile hike in difficult to strenuous mountain terrain in the Cohutta Wilderness Area. Went under water when crossing the Conasauga River. Dried very quickly in sun and wind. Excellent shoe from NB."

"I thought these shoes would be everthing I was looking for in a low hiking shoe....gortex and vibram sole... and wide width... so it was very disappointing when the toe box and width did not live up to my expectations... I had to return them"

"I've had this shoe for 4 weeks now and it has gone above and beyond my expectations. I walk approximately 8 miles a day and I have lots of foot issues that necessitate I wear a high quality supportive shoe. The minute I put these shoes on the supportiveness reminded me of my pair of Italian made hikers that aren't wide enough for me anymore. My foot stays stable and in neutral position no matter what type of terrain I'm going over. The toe bed gives plenty of room without cramping or crowding. There was almost no break-in period for these shoes. I've never been a big fan of New Balance because I'm not a tennis shoe person but these shoes are rugged enough for me and hold up to outdoor conditions fantastic. I am not bothered by some of my chronic foot issues because of the great support these shoes give. I wouldn't be without them. Great job, New Balance!"
