"Within 1 year of use (summer only) the soles of my wife's Born shoes cracked in half and she's only 140 lbs soaking wet!!! She said they were very comfortable while they lasted, but it appears the shoe was made of foam and a cheap piece of plastic embedded inside (with the top being leather of course)."

"These shoes are absolutely fantastic. I knew from previous purchases that Born shoes were comfortable, so I took a chance & bought both colors & I'm so glad I did. I can wear them all day long (I can get away with wearing the black ones as dress shoes to work!) with no foot pain. They look great, they feel great, I could not be happier with these shoes!!!"

"These are the best and most comfortable shoes I think that I have ever worn! They were comfortable right out of the box, no need to break them in. I love them they look great with anything, including jeans. I bought them in brown but I am also going to get them in black. A little costly but well worth it!!!!"
