"The 3 1/2", #5, 1 7/8 oz. Mag-Shok Heavyweight tungsten loads with the Flite Control wads patterned extremely well at 40, 60 & 80 yards in my Remington 870 with an X-Tra full choke. l anchored my first tom at 80 yds. I also bagged toms with one shot at 69 yards (3), 58-60 yards (5) and several others at closer distances. One bird was shot on the wing flying directly away from me at 69 yards. I might add that several other toms required more than one shot and I did miss three birds. Overall these are outstanding loads and increase the effective range of lead by at least 20 yards!"

"I know they are expensive but I won't use any other load. Sold on all Federal Premium amo this is the best they have. Longest kill 64 yards with number 6 (measured with a range finder), all birds go down when hit with this stuff."

"This is one wicked turkey load!! I patterned this at 50 yards along with Remington HD and Winchester Extended Range. All shells are 3 1/2 magnum. 5 shot for federal and winchester, 4 shot for remington. This stuff had an incredible pattern! I shot several choke tubes ( Carlson's ported, Briley ported heavy shot, Primos Jellyhead, Truglo gobblestopper, and HS Undertaker. The federal shot better out of every tube. Best groups were from the Carlson's and the Truglow. The Winchester patterns averaged 20-30 less pellets in a 10" circle and the Remington wasn't even close. I can't wait for season to open here in Ohio next week to see how this stuff performs on a big 'ol tom!"

"On opening day of spring season, I loaded Remington 4X6s, followed by Federal Mag Shok Heavyweight 4s.I shoot a Browning Gold 3"using a Briley's turkey choke. I called up 4 gobblers and shot at two, 2 shots, 2 kills! THe first was 28 yards and the 4X6s did OK, 5 pellets in the head and neck, with 12 scattered through the body. The second gobbler was 32 yards away, and the Federal 4s jellyed his head. Man, what a tight pattern!!! I was amazed, they are great! Only thing is ,you have to hold it right on the head and be steady, or you'll miss!!! The second day I killed my third bird, at 22 steps, and he didn't have a chance, the Mag Shok took his head off!! I'll never hunt with anything else!!!!!!!!"

"Federal's 12 ga. Mag-Shok loads gave the tightest patterns out of five turkey loads. Federal's Flightcontrol wads and 37% denser than lead tungsten alloy shot really make a difference. The other brands I tested used traditional petal wads and hevi or lead shot. The 3.5" load put 70% of the Heavyweight #5 shot in a 30" circle at 54 yards using Benelli Nova with a Carlson's ported turkey choke."
