Swarovski 1" A-Line Riflescopes

Light and compact, the A-Line riflescope series is rugged and durable. The 1" main tube is constructed from a single piece of aluminum alloy that is scratchproof and lightweight. The easy-to-use, precise 1/4-MOA click adjustments are resettable to zero. All premium Swarovski riflescopes are waterproof, fogproof and dustproof even when the turret cap is removed, and the Swarotop? and Swarodur? multilayer, anti-reflective lens coatings give maximum light transmission. "Solid scope for the money. I have two Swaro A-lines in 3-12x50 and for 100-300 yd shooting they are clear and precise. Though their reticles are a bit thin (ballistic reticle model) they get the job done.

I would put these a-lines second only to the Z-6 and Schmidt and Bender in terms of performance in my experience. I have all three and although the a-line is very nice, the S&B precision hunter is top of the heap (but costs more).

If you want to be successful on the range or hunting long distances please don't pay less for your scope than you paid for your rifle. You will be proud to own this scope and enjoy its clarity and precision when the trophy reveals itself 15 minutes before sunset.

"I am not impressed with Swarovski. I own Leupold and Zeiss scopes and would not trade either for this swarovski. I could have almost both two Leupold's for what this one cost. My opinion is Leupold will get the job done and my ZEISS has better clarity than my Leupold (which really helps on the range). Do yourself a favor and save some money. Honestly I do not see any benefits or bells and whistles better than what I already have. I will add that Leupold's customer service is awesome and 100% first class. I did get a good price (clearence) though for what this scope retails for. Thanks Cabela's I guess. However, If I would have paid full price, it would be sent back."

"This is my 3rd one and I'll likely get one more for one last gun that needs an upgrade. Sharp and bright, this scope is every bit as good as similar models that cost $1500+. This scope is still by no means inexpensive, but it's worth every penny, and I highly recommend it."

"The optics on these scopes are excellent! I was able to spot for my Brother while he was shooting his .45-70 Quigley, and could follow the bullet trace as it flew to the target.

The internal adjustments are probably not as bullet-proof as other top-end brands, but will most likely work out fine for most hunters/shooters."

"No matter how many times I tell myself that I can get by with a less expensive scope, every time I look through a Swarovski Scope I am so glad I bought it. It is brighter and clearer at dusk and dawn than most scopes are at midday. The eye relief is very forgiving and for me getting on target with the Swarovski is much quicker and more natural than with other Scopes. They are well worth the money and the only scope better than the Swarovski 1" A Line is a 30MM Swarovski."

"What a great product but it would be expected from the Swarovski line. The new BP reticle is very nice and you can go online and plug in your ballistics and print out exactly what range your various crosshairs and dots are on at."

"i've had one of these scopes on my 308 for close to 10 years. the point of impact has N E V E R changed. there's only been a few times it's ever came off 10x. two times included a bear, close quarters and very dark conditions. the other times got me a nice 8 point and a drop tine 9 pointer 32 minutes apart."

"I recently purchased a new Swarovski A-Line 3-10 with the new BR reticule from Cabela's. It is on a new Sako 85 in 300 WSM. Optics are superb and the new BR range system is much better then the old TDS system. The Swarovski web sight has a section where you can put in your exact ammo info and it calculates the distances for you. The scope came with several ready made calculations. Find the correct one for your ammo and simply stick it on the gun stock. As with any range system a good range finder is absolutly essential."

"When I built a custom 7mm STW on an A-Bolt action, I wanted to put some quality glass on it. I looked at other high-end scopes, but came back to the Swarovski for its clarity, weight, and great eye relief.

I cannot begin to mention the difference between this scope and others in my safe. It is truly night-and-day between other manufacturers in terms of sight picture and the ability to really see a difference in the target. I have had other scopes fog up repeatedly (even though they stated fogproof), but this scope has weathered 3 fall seasons (9 different hunts) with zero issues. I can't say that I have abused it or the rifle, but it is the most accurate and dependable combo in the safe.

If you are looking for a scope that will outlast your eyes, this is the one!"

Amazing clarity, January 29, 2008

"After purchasing an H&S Precision rifle from the Cabelas gun library, I decided to buy a quality scope. Swarovski products are notoriously expensive but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". My application is strictly hunting and since I had a budget I decided to keep the purchase under $1,000.
The 1" 3-1/2x9x42 comes with flip caps to protect your glass from dust and dirt when not in use. The instructions for dialing in your retical on long range shots is very comprehensive and some what hard to understand.
One week after purchasing the rifle and scope I was in Texas on a whitetail hunt. The outfitter informed me of a nice 8 point that was hanging around the west end of the property. I drove out to the blind around 4:00 to setup and wait for first light. It was dark and all though I could hear deer walking through the brush I couldn't see them.
I gently pulled my Nikon binoculars to my eyes and all I could see was faint images in the distance. Easing my rifle through the widow and looking through my scope to my amazement I could see the deer clearly feeding 150 yards in front of me. The Swarovski glass let in enough light for me to take the shot and kill the 8 point I was hearing about the previous evening.
That hunt and the particular situation has made me a true fan of Swarovski optics. I will never buy another brand scope."

"I can see the target at 100 yds better than a cheap 25-50x spotting scope. The clarity and simple adjustments are incredible. If one buys quality up front, it saves time and money in the long run. I have the 3-9 power mounted on a TCarms 300 Win Mag Pro Hunter. Great light weight with little kick."
