"Bushnell® Bowhunter Yardage Pro® Laser Rangefinder - Chuck Adams Edition I used this rangefinder only two days in north idaho on a elk hunt and it got dust inside. everything else was fine but for the price it should be dust proof. I returned it and cabelas was great as allways. Thay would be smart to take this rangefinder off the shelf!!!!!"

not quite hunter quality,September 25, 2009

"I have owned a previous Bushnell range finder and used it for 11 years with no trouble. I thought I was upgrading with the ARC capability and all. Not so. This range finder does not work if there is high humidity light fog and low light. I used it one day with it in the case and only pulled it out occasionally when I was sitting down resting. It now has fern spores or dust on the inside of the lenses. I know if it will allow that size of dust to get into it that water would run into it quickly. I like the size and functionality, but please build one for the hard core bow hunter. Climbing a tree and hunting out of a tree stand would probably work great, but to hike and bush wack it doesn't cut the mustard."
One of the best range finders yet,August 3, 2009

"I have not used the range finder to full use yet, but when i did i thought it was quick, reliable, light weight, and is the best for the money from cabelas. True it's the same price everywhere you look, but if you shop with cabela's, and you shop alot, you get these $20.00 off specials that make any product from cabela's better. But besides all that I got a great deal on the range finder through cabela's and this is by the best one i've found. You have about 600-800 yards to determine your target. Then you close in for the final shot. It has the ARC benefit, which i have not used yet. It ranges quick with little delay. I am very happy with my purchase all the way around."

"If I could make any improvement to the devise that would be to seal the unit well enough to label it waterproof. You never know when you'll be bending over a harvested moose and the devise falls out of the holster into a river or lake. Second screw or pop on/off front lens protectors, let's face it when the yardage pro is being used were not standing in Central Park surrounded by lush grass, were out climbing over rocks, crawling over gravel, subjecting the lens to damage. The ease of use is top notch, the digital read out is clear and measuring distance at extreme angles gives another element of confidence. The holster with the magnetic closer out classes most manufactures with their Velcro or snap closers. The four star rating is only because I still have not used this in the fog, rain or snow................"
"Great size and weight but... This unit does not work in low light conditions and is very hard to read. If there is any brush in the way it won't read at all. I used it in two states for turkey hunting and was not happy with the performance. It might work well out West in open conditions but for Midwest fence row, woods and field hunting it's not the ticket. I'll probably return it and try again."
Range in Advance,May 12, 2009

"The size is great , will fit in your shirt pocket . Works great but fails often in shady areas aiming at low reflective targets . I have owned 2 other Bushnell rangefinders and have not had this problem . I usually range in advance using various objects for reference ,but if you have to range an animal fast I would be concerned about a range failure resulting in a missed shot . I will try to live with , but the first time it hurts me I will look for a better performing ARC product , after I destroy this one in a fit of rage because I will probably lose my temper ."

"I have to say Cabela's was excellent on the return but as far as the "Chuck Adam's edition" range finder is concerned it did not work on targets at 10 yards and the digital display is small and very difficult to read. I have very good eyes (dont need glasses) and I had a hard time reading the yardage. It would read reflective targets but not targets that were not such as a head or the turkey that was at approximatly 20 yards. Cabelas was great on taking it back with no questions asked."
