As a Founding Member of the Sustainable Furniture Council, Mountain Woods Furniture is committed to using mostly reclaimed or "dead-standing" wood, and where necessary, supplementing those wood sources with sustainably sourced, locally harvested aspen trees. The company uses wood scraps to efficiently heat their facility and utilize low-VOC stain and water-based finishes during construction to minimize indoor air pollution.
